Finishing Touches...
As you can see from these pictures, the cabling was an outrageous mess. Between the amount of hardware that was installed and the number of mods that they'd done, it looked like the inside of a phone exchange.
So, they got to work with cable management. This is hardly the most exciting thing to be doing, but with some careful tidying, everything ended up a lot neater.
The guys wanted to have a way to control the cooling and the lighting inside the case, so they decided to hook up some simple switches. Some switches were acquired and holes were drilled on a rear PCI bracket for them.
Fitted, they discretely sit at the bottom of the case. One switches the fans from 7v to 12v, whilst the other switches in the internal lighting on or off, making the case far more practical and rather less gaudy.
A final piece of green perspex was cut and shaped to fit in the gap between to the right of the motherboard. This should reflect some of the internal lighting back into the main section of the case, whilst hiding the backs of drives and the various connectors. The stealthing continues the green perspex theme throughout the case interior.
